A Brief Profile

Post graduate from Oxford University (UK). Served as Prof. & Head Dept. of Orthopaedic Surgeon at PGI Chandigarh. He has made a significant contribution in the field of Joint Replacement Surgery & Trauma. He has performed more than 6000 Joint Replacement since 1981. His Pioneer work on fracture neck of femur is well known internationally and is quoted in western text books "He is the only surgeon to be awarded the life time achievement award by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)" in addition to numerous prestigious Oration awards given by various national and international organization.

He has more than 250 published articles to his credit in various scientific journals.
