• Pioneer in developing Paediatric Orthopaedics in India.

• Founder Secretary and President of the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India (2005 - 2011)

• Pioneered many techniques in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Spinal Surgery in India and internationally e.g. APSI

• Pioneered internationally the injection of botulinum toxin for cerebral palsy patients under the age of 3 years.

• The first Asian to be Chief Editor of the prestigious international journal - the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics (British)

• Chairman / Scientific Chairman for 3 International conferences in India - APKS (2012), ISPO (2013) and SICOT (2013).

• Past President, Indian Orthopaedic Association (2010) and Indian Academy of Cerebral Palsy (2008 - 2011).

• Currently Chairman Education, SICOT and National Delegate for India
